Send Emails/Newsletter
Overview
The Send Emails/Newsletter feature allows Organizers to send customized emails or newsletters to event attendees. This feature provides a user-friendly interface for composing and sending emails with placeholders and HTML rendering capabilities.
To send email to attendees, the Admin/Organizer needs the EVENT_SEND_NEWSLETTER permission. For more details, visit

Accessing the Send Emails/Newsletter Feature

Navigate to the Event:
- Log in to the admin dashboard.
- Select the event for which you want to send emails or newsletters.

Open the Send Emails/Newsletter Tool:
- In the sidebar, click on the Send Email button.
- This will open the email editor interface.
Composing an Email/Newsletter

Select Attendees:
- Choose the attendees from your list who you want to send the email or newsletter to.
- You can select multiple attendees or specific groups.

Write the Subject:
- Enter the subject of your email in the subject field.

Compose the Content:
- Write the content of the email in the editor. You can use the following placeholders to personalize the email. For more details, visit the Placeholders Guide.
- These placeholders will be automatically replaced with the respective information for each attendee.

Enable HTML Rendering (Optional):
- If you want to compose the email using HTML, toggle the Insert as HTML/Preview option in the editor.
- This will enable HTML rendering, allowing you to include HTML content in your email.
Sending the Email/Newsletter

Send a Test Email:
- Click on the Send Test Email button.
- Enter your email address to receive a test email with the content you have composed.
- This allows you to review the email before sending it to the attendees.

Send the Email:
- Review the email content and ensure all placeholders and information are correct.
- Click on the Send Email button to dispatch the email to all selected attendees.
Additional Tips
- Personalization: Use placeholders to personalize the email content for each attendee, making the communication more engaging.
- Testing: Always send a test email to yourself to check the appearance and functionality of the email before sending it to the attendees.
- HTML Emails: If using HTML, ensure your content is well-formatted and displays correctly in different email clients.
Troubleshooting
- Placeholder Issues: If placeholders are not being replaced correctly, ensure they are entered exactly as specified (e.g., $lastName).
- Email Delivery: Verify that the email addresses of your attendees are correct to avoid delivery failures.
- HTML Rendering: If HTML content is not displaying correctly, check the HTML code for errors and ensure the * Render HTML* option is enabled.
